_I completed my PhD in the department of Environmental Systems at the University of California, Merced working with Jason Sexton where I investigated adaptive evolution and phenotypic plasticity to climate in various plant systems. I held a postdoc under Nicholas Kooyers where I examined genomic features underlying invasion in white clover. I use herbarium records to uncover signatures of adaptive evolution in response to local and global change. In addition, I develop pipelines to rapidly identify microbial sequence data from large genomic datasets and analyze them across spatial and temporal gradients.
